Today was a blast! Daddy was home so he was able to hang out with LT while QC and I had lots of one on one time. We have snow and LOTS of it here so we got all bundled up and went out to play.
Side note: I am too old to be flopping into the snow to show how to make a snow angel, but QC thought it was hilarious so it was worth the knee and ankle pain that followed.
After we were done playing Daddy had some hot cocoa waiting for QC and we warmed up for a while. Then Daddy and QC bundled back up and went to the store while LT and I rested for a while.
While at the store Daddy points out colors and letters and tells QC what different foods start with! QC came home with a red apple that he begged for!
Then we did our B Project of the day!
B is for Bird's Nests!
He had so much fun stirring, scooping, topping, and tasting! We will get to try them tomorrow after we make our last B food!
Mama Perz's Bird's Nests
1 cup chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
3 cups crispy rice cereal
Bird Egg candies
Melt the chocolate chips with the butter, add the cereal and mix until fully coated. Spoon into greased cupcake pan (12 cups) and top with the candy eggs. Put into the fridge and let set. We couldn't find peeps but they would be super cute on top with the eggs!
